Ultimate Freyna: Nightmare Dominator
The Ultimate Descendant Project refers to a plan in which either the Ancestors' technology and equipment found throughout Ingris, or their special Arche genes, are refined to suit the characteristics of active Descendants, then applied to them. The ultimate goal being to enhance all Descendants to reflect the Ancestors, the powerful predecessors of humanity.
What is especially unusual about Freyna's Ultimate Project is that it was carried out without her knowledge. Officially, it was said Freyna herself rejected the Ultimate Project, but according to her psych evaluation report, the stronger Freyna got, the more helpless she felt whenever she recalled her inability to help O'Neal. Every time she looked back at her life, her mental health would decline, due to her self-loathing and the trauma she received from the incident; it was severe enough to cause interference during operations.
Sharen, Freyna's fellow soldier and commander, could not sit idly by. Sharen, who was out of options, was even considering adding a nerve-blocking substance in the toxic neutralizer that was to be administered... However, in this case, the neutralizer would deteriorate, and instead, Freyna's life would be in disarray. To stop such a chemical reaction, there was an urgent need to upgrade her exclusive equipment, including toxic filtration devices. For Freyna to overcome her circumstances, in many ways, the Ultimate Project was necessary.
At this time, intel was received from No. 17 that the mastermind behind the "Room 0 Incident" from years ago was suppressing the body decay process by implanting the body with the Ancestors' equipment. The Council of Magisters used that Ancestors equipment and researched Freyna's Ultimate Project, envisioning the development of new equipment that could control even toxic Arche that is extremely sensitive to chemical reactions...
Sharen, who received the intel, was more focused on the fact that the mastermind appeared than the Ancestors equipment that is familiar to the Vulgus. Freyna had no choice but to carry out her mission while facing her painful past. But she was able to complete her Ultimate Project: Securing the anti-decay device from the Ancestors. And it was during this operation where she was able to free herself from the weight that had tied her to the depths of woe, with her own two hands.
In this way, Freyna's Ultimate Project was carried out without her knowledge, granting her new powers she didn't know she had. Rather than enhancing drugs that control the mind, it has been an opportunity for her to face her wounds and move forward...
Ultimate Equipment, Arche Chemical Control Suit, "Nightmare Dominator"
This Ultimate equipment is an emission-type Arche user specialized battlesuit,
which has been modified based on Viessa's Ultimate equipment "Absolute-Zero." A cursory look at it might lead one to think the gear is just a variant of Absolute-Zero, but the real beauty of this Ultimate Project is the special chemical toxin filtration unit created specifically for Freyna.
The original filtration unit that Freyna had equipped could no longer handle the control and distribution of these chemicals. This strained her body as her Arche grew more powerful. This theoretically implied a fatal limit existing, where she would be forced to stop the growth of her Arche in order to survive. However, with the help of a filtration unit applied with the Ancestors' technology, Freyna gained tremendous power to change the formula of her Toxic Arche at any moment and to release as much of it as she wanted. This boost in performance has also transformed her own mindset when it comes to her trauma. She has become a dominator of nightmares, dominating the nightmares of her enemies as well as her own.
