Transcendent Ability

Hunter's Sense
Hunter's Sense
While holding a weapon while attacking a Colossus, increases Additional Weapon ATK. Once shots fired reach a set count, Chain Explosion occurs at the hit location, dealing damage to nearby targets and propagating to the surrounding area. Explosion damage is reduced when it stacks on the same target. Dealing a critical hit adds more to the Fire Count. On a critical hit against a Common Monster/Elite/Tyrant, grants Hunter's Sense to self. When Hunter's Sense reaches maximum stacks, its stacks are reset to 1 and Ricochet occurs on the target hit and nearby targets, dealing damage. On a critical hit against a Tyrant/Commander/Colossus, inflicts Monster Hunter on the target. When dealing a critical hit with this firearm to a target afflicted with Monster Hunter, deals Additional Damage.

Ability Point Allocation

The unique ability of a Transcendent Weapon. Its options share a pool of 150 points, which every option starts an even share of. Where an option lands between its lowest and highest value is decided by the points put into it, so spending the whole pool on one takes it to its maximum and leaves the others at their minimum.

Fixed Attribute Conversion: Fire
A portion of Attribute ATK excluding Fire ATK is converted to Fire ATK, and all other Attribute ATK becomes 0.

The Ultimate Project for the Descendants was undoubtedly a phenomenal achievement, but it was ultimately a result that relied heavily on the wisdom of the Magisters. However, the engineering team at Albion Headquarters was not satisfied with this. By reverse-engineering countless pieces of Ultimate equipment, they accumulated a vast amount of engineering data and finally succeeded in creating a new class of weaponry that completely shattered the existing standards for Ultimate Weapons. Albion Headquarters bestowed the name Transcendent Weapons upon these advanced instruments of destruction.

The core technology underlying Transcendent Weapons lies in the "Forced Collapse of the Arche Critical Point." Drawing inspiration from the mechanism of Ultimate Equipment, which pushes each Descendant's potential to the extreme, the engineering team succeeded in integrating a specialized power circulation system capable of transcending physical limits internally to the firearms. Miniaturizing a massive power reactor to the size of a personal firearm was considered nearly impossible, but the relentless determination of Albion's engineers had finally broken through the limits.

"If it was the Magisters' wisdom that led the Descendants to the Ultimate, it was the sweat and tenacity of Albion that 'transcended' their weapons."

The original Ominous Hound was a weapon designed for mass production by incorporating Albion's proprietary technology into a firearm based on Vulgus weaponry. Its low production cost and ease of maintenance made it the most basic firearm issued to Descendant Trainees and members of the Security Corps.

This excellent versatility and cost-effectiveness were what caught Deslin's attention. Building on its ease of use and familiarity, Deslin's determination led to the start of the Hunting Hound Project, and the first fruits of its labor was the Monster Hunter. No longer simply a Hunting Hound that endured enemy offensives, it had become a ruthless hunter that dominated the battlefield and never let its targets escape.

The greatest challenge in developing this weapon was "achieving the highest efficiency against any enemy it encountered." To this end, Deslin equipped the firearm with a Target-Responsive Bullet Conversion Device that scans the target's threat level in real time and autonomously changes its method of destruction. Having evolved from a Hunting Hound into a hunter, this weapon will now present a perfect, lethal formula for destruction against any type of enemy that takes to the battlefield.
