Descendant Modules for Ultimate Esiemo

Obtained via Research

Ultimate Esiemo: Blazing Detonator

The Ultimate Descendant Project refers to a plan in which either the Ancestors' technology and equipment found throughout Ingris, or their special Arche genes, are refined to suit the characteristics of active Descendants and applied to them. The ultimate goal being to enhance all Descendants to reach the level of the Ancestors, the powerful predecessors of humanity.

For this reason, Esiemo was one of the most pressing challenges the project had to solve. His Explosive Arche guaranteed an overwhelming amount of firepower, but controlling that power required an even greater degree of mastery. The existing blast-proof suit, which prioritized stability, suppressed the chain of explosions. But in doing so, it also reduced his firepower, and became a shackle that only protected its wearer, Esiemo.

To address this problem, the Magisters turned their attention to the Ancestors' technology known as the "Neural Detonator Unit," but even this could not be called a perfect solution. The core data, which had been damaged the moment it was secured, yielded only incomplete results despite numerous restoration attempts, and the flaws manifested even more critically in the equipment produced. While it was possible to transfer the explosive energy to a selected location, the released energy mass was so unstable that it would react to even the slightest energy fluctuation. Equipment that could trigger a chain of explosions at any moment was like a literal time bomb. Controlling it fully would require senses far beyond the limits of human judgment.

However, after reviewing the derived data, Anais immediately decided to put the equipment to use. This is because she had already seen a probability that data alone could not explain. That probability was Esiemo, who had never caused a major accident despite wielding such dangerous Arche, a feat many deemed "sheer luck."

Anais' judgment was correct. Esiemo was able to control the equipment's instability to use it as another device for explosions. What was needed to wield the uncontrollable force was not precise calculations or a control system, but an innate sense that could revel in the unpredictability, and an unwavering belief.

Esiemo shows everyone; enemies exploding, a growing reputation, and burning adoration. Not to mention cheering comrades. There is nothing quite like an explosion to set it all off at once.

Ultimate Equipment, Arche Transfer Blast-Proof Suit "Black Detonator"

This Ultimate Equipment, which began as a fractured blueprint recovered from a Vulgus ship, is a Battlesuit redesigned by Magister Anais based on Esiemo's existing blast-proof suit. The key feature of the suit is that it dramatically increases explosive response speed by storing the chemical particles Esiemo emits in the "Neural Detonator Units" that are ejected in real time from beneath the exoskeleton.

The Black Detonator became a meaningful project for Anais, in that it achieved a performance on par with existing Ultimate Equipment without being constrained by the restoration of Ancestor technology and equipment. At least until Esiemo personally added a skull marking to the helmet.

"Why!? Skulls are cool!"
