Entropy Overlap
Entropy Overlap
When using an Electric skill, grants Entropy Overlap to self. While Entropy Overlap is active, using a Tracking Projectile type skill grants Entropy Conversion to self and grants Entropy Energy Round. While Entropy Energy Rounds are available, firing a firearm consumes Entropy Energy Rounds to deal additional damage. Entropy Energy Rounds cause Multi-Hits on hit.

Active research on the concept of entropy began following Nell's awakening. Nell's Arche ability, which directly manipulates Dimensional Breaches, their energy, and entropy itself, firmly established the previously abstract concept of entropy in many minds.

Even so, entropy and the degree of disorder remained convoluted concepts. However, as research progressed, many ideas emerged that directly utilized thermodynamic energy and entropy.

This firearm originated from one such idea, which involves converting the disorder inherent in electromagnetic forces of particles into kinetic energy. Although the energy loss during the conversion process was still significant, it demonstrated sufficient power for weaponization.

However, as it failed to materialize entropy into energy and merely incorporated an energy conversion technology, Nell commented:

"This isn't true entropy. But the technical application is certainly commendable."
