Greetings, Descendants.

 

Here are the major issues that were found for The First Descendant in May.

 

We will continually update this notice with any additional issues and bugs that are found, as well as any impactful issues identified before May. Please keep track of the updates during your gameplay.

 

[May 28th]

■ (#8) An issue where drop reward items from defeating a Colossus in Void Intercept Battle fall outside the terrain and cannot be obtained

 

■ (#8) An issue where the skill name and description are displayed incorrectly in some skill tooltips for the Bunny and Blair

- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.30 Patch.

 

■ (#8) An issue where the 'Last Stand' module is applied with the 'Cerulean' socket type when combined

- We have identified an issue where the 'Last Stand' module is applied with the 'Cerulean' socket type instead of the 'Xantic' socket type when combined.

- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.30 Patch.

 

■ (#9) An issue where some option values and colors of the 'Explosive Aesthetics' Trigger Module owned are displayed incorrectly

- We have identified an issue where the option values and colors of the 'Bombs Fired per Stack' and 'Finale' options on the owned Trigger Module 'Explosive Aesthetics' are displayed incorrectly.

- This issue only occurs with the 'Explosive Aesthetics' module that was owned prior to the 1.3.29 Patch, and modules newly acquired after the patch are displaying correctly.

- Please note that only the option values and colors are displayed incorrectly; the actual option values are being applied normally. This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.30 Patch.

 

■ (Revised)(#11)(Resolved) An issue where some option values and colors of the 'Explosive Aesthetics' Trigger Module owned are displayed incorrectly

- We have identified an issue where the Damage Range of the 'Bombs Fired per Stack' option and the Base Damage value of the 'Finale' option on the owned Trigger Module 'Explosive Aesthetics' are applied in reverse.

- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in Hotfix 1.3.29b, along with a Leaderboard reset.

- Please note that due to this issue, the Leaderboard reset that was scheduled for PDT 2026.05.28 (Thu) 22:00 has been postponed and will take place after the Hotfix 1.3.29b patch.

 

[May 26th]

■ (#8)(Resolved) An issue where the activation condition of the 'Onslaught Mode' Arche Parameter 'Enhanced Resurrection' is not functioning correctly

- We have identified an issue where the 'Enhanced Resurrection' effect, which is intended to be granted upon resurrection after a full death, also activates when a Descendant is revived by another Descendant while in a DBNO state.

 

[May 22nd]

■ (#8)(Resolved) An issue where the 'Hypernova' material item icon is displayed incorrectly in the NPC Deslin – Trade Limited Weapon tab

- We have identified an issue where the 'Hypernova' Weapon Material icon in the Trade Limited Weapon tab is displayed as the 'Deus Ex Manus' material icon instead.

- Please note that only the icon is displayed incorrectly; the correct 'Hypernova' Weapon Material will be provided upon purchase.

 

■ (#8)(Resolved) An issue where party members (excluding the Party Leader) can enter 'Onslaught Mode' and 'Bounty Operations' without meeting the required conditions when matchmaking as a party

- We have identified an issue where, in 'Onslaught Mode' and 'Bounty Operations,' party members can change their equipped items to enter with a Required Arche Activity value below the minimum requirement.

- We have identified an issue where, in 'Bounty Operations,' party members are able to switch to a Descendant other than the designated Deployable Descendant. Please note that in this case, the affected party member will be removed from the mission.

 

■ (#8)(Resolved) An issue where the 'Use a Shape Stabilizer' mission intermittently appears in the Battle Pass Daily Challenges

- We have identified an issue where the 'Use a Shape Stabilizer' mission appears in the Battle Pass Daily Challenges.

- Please note that if this issue occurs, the challenge can be replaced with another by using 'Shuffle Challenges.'

- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.29 Patch.

 

■ (#4) An issue where the option values of some modules are displayed differently from the in-game information when viewing Trigger Module details in the Companion App

 

■ (#8)(Resolved) An issue where the Damage Interval of the Trigger Module 'Current Bonding' is not applied under certain conditions

- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.29 Patch.

- As this issue has been found to have abnormally affected Leaderboard records, a Leaderboard reset will be carried out alongside the fix.

 

■ (#8)(Resolved) An issue where 'Wall Crasher' does not appear intermittently

 

■ (#8)(Resolved) An issue where the Purchase button in some Shop UI has been changed to a 'Hold' type

 

[May 21st]

■ (#8)(Resolved) An issue where a hemispherical solid-line grid appears in the background sky in the Onslaught Mode

- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.29 Patch.

 

■ (#4)(Resolved) An issue where both the Season 3 EP3 and Season 3 EP4 effects are displayed when viewing Inversion Reinforcement in the Companion App

 

■ (#8)(Resolved) An issue where certain weapons and Descendant skills deal no damage to the robot arm of Commander monster 'Sculptor' in Infiltration Operation 'Legion Laboratory'

- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.29 Patch.

 

■ (#8)(Resolved) An issue where the continuous MP recovery effect for Descendants does not function during Onslaught Mode

- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.29 Patch.

 

■ (#8)(Resolved) An issue where the Knockback effect on monsters in front of a Barricade does not function when installing or upgrading a Barricade during Onslaught Mode

- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.29 Patch.

 

■ (#8)(Resolved) An issue where the number of 'Amorphous Dimension Fragments' obtained in certain Emergency Missions is less than the target amount when playing in a 2 or 3-person squad in Onslaught Mode

- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.29 Patch.

 

■ (#8)(Resolved) An issue where the 1st place indicator for personal performance is not displayed on the Mission Result screen after playing Onslaught Mode in a squad

- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.29 Patch.

 

■ (#8)(Resolved) An issue where unobtainable items are displayed in the Library – Miscellaneous tab

- We have identified an issue where 'Ancestors Module Supply Box I–V' and 'Attribute-specific Ancestors Module Supply Box I–V' items, which are currently not distributed, are displayed in the Library.

- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.29 Patch.

 

■ (#2) An issue where the Unique Ability 'Sprint Instinct' of Ultimate Weapon 'Frenzied Locomotive' is incorrectly displayed in languages other than Korean

- We have identified an issue where the Basic Info for 'Sprint Instinct' in languages other than Korean displays only 'Additional Damage' without the description that it is applied 'When firing on the ground.'

- Please note that only the tooltip display is incorrect — the effect that deals Additional Damage when firing on the ground is functioning normally.

 

■ (#8)(Resolved) An issue where the Rounds per Magazine information is incorrectly displayed in the tooltip for Ultimate Weapon 'Frenzied Locomotive'

- We have identified an issue where the Rounds per Magazine for 'Frenzied Locomotive' is displayed as 100 in the tooltip, when it is actually unlimited.

- Please note that only the tooltip display is incorrect — 'Frenzied Locomotive' is functioning normally with unlimited Rounds per Magazine.

 

■ (#8)(Resolved) An issue where the Dimensional Breach Stabilization Contribution rankings are displayed abnormally when multiplayer is blocked by another game service on PS/Xbox platforms

- We have identified an issue where the current platform's contribution rankings are displayed correctly, but the overall platform contribution rankings are incorrectly shown as identical to the current platform's rankings.

- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.29 Patch.

 

■ (#8)(Resolved) An issue where the attribute icons for Ancestors Module Loot Supply C and D items are displayed incorrectly

- We have identified an issue where the attribute icons for Ancestors Module Loot Supply C and D items are displayed in reverse.

- Please note that only the attribute icon display is incorrect; the correct items corresponding to each configuration are properly provided upon opening.

- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.29 Patch.

 

(#6)(Resolved) An issue where the Jayber Makeup "Olive," included in the PS and XBOX membership exclusive rewards, is not applied when equipped

- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.29 Patch.

 

■ (#8)(Resolved) An issue where another Descendant appears in the entry cutscene when starting a Private Operation in the Onslaught Mode

- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.29 Patch.

 

[May 20th]

(#2)(Resolved) An issue where combining the 'Cryogenic Cluster Shot' module applies a 'Malachite' socket type instead of the correct socket type

- We have identified an issue where combining the 'Cryogenic Cluster Shot' module applies a 'Malachite' socket type instead of the correct 'Xantic' socket type.

- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.28 Update.

 

[May 15th]

(#2)(Resolved) An issue where the 'Increased Sensory' skill malfunctions while Ultimate Gley's Transcendent Module 'Blood and Iron' is equipped

- We have identified an issue where additional damage effects are applied to melee weapons and firearms when using the 'Increased Sensory' skill while the 'Frenzied' skill is inactive with 'Blood and Iron' equipped.

- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.28 Update.

 

[Previous Known Issues]

■ Intel CPU Issue

- Crashes have been reported on some Intel 13th and 14th generation CPUs.

- On PCs using these CPUs, the game may forcefully shut down with an error message stating 'Out of video memory' when launched.

This issue can be partially resolved by adjusting power limits in the BIOS.

- We are awaiting a response from Intel regarding this issue, and we are sharing Intel's official response for your reference.

 

■ Temporary solutions for client termination issues with certain antivirus Programs

- We have requested for exceptions for The First Descendant to antivirus programs, but some have not been implemented. Below are temporary solutions for this problem.

(1) ‘Bitdefender’ Temporary Solution [FAQ]

- Go to System Protection > Advanced Threat Detection (ATD) > Manage Exclusions menu, select the file or folder for The First Descendant, and save.

(2) ‘McAfee Agent’ Temporary Solution [FAQ]

- Go to McAfee Security > Navigation > Quarantined and Trusted Items, select TheFirstDescendant.exe from the quarantined programs list, and restore it.

 

■ Solutions for ‘Easy Anti-Cheat’ not functioning correctly

- If Easy Anti-Cheat malfunctions, refer to the FAQ for solutions. If the issue persists, please contact customer support with relevant screenshots.
