Greetings, Descendants.
Here are the major issues that were found for The First Descendant in January.
We will continually update this notice with any additional issues and bugs that are found, as well as any impactful issues identified before January. Please keep track of the updates during your gameplay.
[January 29th]
■ (#5) An Issue Where Reaching Level 400 Is Not Possible When Purchasing the Premium Battle Pass
- An issue has been identified where Descendants are unable to reach Level 400 even after earning all available EXPs after purchasing the Premium Battle Pass.
- This issue was caused by an unintended design oversight that was not identified during operations. To prevent this from occurring again, we have thoroughly reviewed and adjusted the overall experience and level structure for Season 3 Episode 3.
- We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. As compensation, 300 Bonus Coins will be granted to all Descendants who purchased the Season 3 Episode 2: Assemble Premium Battle Pass.
- The compensation will be distributed on February 9 (Mon) and can be used in the newly launched Battle Pass.
[January 22nd]
■ (#4) An issue where the maximum stack count is displayed incorrectly in the ‘Kill Chain’ trigger module tooltip
- The incorrect maximum stack display will be corrected with the 1.3.18 update.
■ (#4) An issue where the fire rate of ‘Greg’s Reversed Fate’ was applied abnormally fast
- We have identified an issue where the fire rate of ‘Greg’s Reversed Fate’ was applied abnormally fast, causing damage to intermittently not register.
- To resolve this issue, we plan to refine the fire rate mechanics of Tactical Rifles in a future update, and ‘Greg’s Reversed Fate’ will undergo additional balance adjustments accordingly.
[January 21st]
■ (#3) An issue where some effects were missing from the “Explosive Drone” skill tooltip when Enzo’s Transcendent Module “Compressed Bullet” was equipped in languages other than Korean
- We have identified an issue where the description “Using the skill reloads the firearm in use” was missing from the “Explosive Drone” skill tooltip when Enzo’s “Compressed Bullet” module was equipped.
■ (#3) An issue where some effects were missing from the passive skill tooltips of Ultimate Yujin’s Transcendent Modules “Proliferating Allergy” and “Battlefield Medic”
- We have identified an issue where the passive skill tooltips of the Transcendent Modules “Proliferating Allergy” and “Battlefield Medic” did not display the description “Revive speed for allies in the DBNO state is increased.”
[January 15th]
■ (#3) (Resolved) An issue where the buff effect of Enzo’s “Bullet Supplying Device” skill is not applied to Descendants with full ammunition
- This issue is scheduled to be fixed with 1.3.17 patch.
[Previous Known Issues]
■ (#1) (Resolved) An issue where the Returning Growth Support Weapon Box reward from the [Returning] Back to Albion event is granted as a Level 1 weapon under certain conditions
- When the reward is claimed while the inventory is full, a Level 1 weapon may be delivered via in-game mail.
- This issue was scheduled to be fixed in the PST 2026.01.07 (Wed) patch; however, it has been confirmed that the issue is still occurring.
- We will apply a fix as soon as the root cause is identified. Descendants who received a Level 1 weapon as a result of this issue will be compensated at a later date with Gold and Precision Phase Exchangers used for Weapon Level Transmission.
■ An issue where Sharen's 'Rabbit Game' body skin dye is not applied to certain parts
■ An issue where items were not granted when clicking the “Acquire All Attached Items” button while having ETA Vouchers in the mailbox
- We have identified an issue where items were not granted when clicking the “Acquire All Attached Items” button if ETA Vouchers were present in the mailbox while the inventory already held the maximum amount of ETA Vouchers, preventing additional acquisition.
- Please note that items can be received normally after using some of your ETA Vouchers and then clicking the “Acquire All Attached Items” button.
■ Intel CPU Issue.
- Crashes have been reported on some Intel 13th and 14th generation CPUs.
- On PCs using these CPUs, the game may forcefully shut down with an error message stating 'Out of video memory' when launched.
This issue can be partially resolved by adjusting power limits in the BIOS.
- We are awaiting a response from Intel regarding this issue, and we are sharing Intel's official response for your reference.
